What is and is not AI

Kyndium has two AI helpers, and both only appear when the person running your Kyndium has configured an AI key. Nothing else in the product uses AI, and your project data is never used to train anything.

Describe a project

On the New project page, the AI path asks for a sentence or two about the project and a detail level: Sketch (a quick skeleton), Blueprint (a standard template with notes and priorities), Detailed (phases and sub-tasks) or Comprehensive (milestones and dependencies). It generates a structure and shows it to you first; create it, regenerate, or change the description. The module (Board, Checklist or Timeline) is picked from the description and can be changed after.

  • Better prompts say what, for whom, by when and any constraint: "a six-week launch plan for a mobile app, five people, social, email and press".
  • Each generation is independent; if the first is off, say what to change and generate again.

Ask for a formula

In a Spreadsheet, click AI in the toolbar, select a cell, and describe the formula ("average of Hours where Status is Done"). The formula is written into the cell for you to accept, using the sheet's own column names. See Table and Spreadsheet.

When an AI helper is unavailable, the button is hidden and the standard template or a hand-written formula does the job.
