Files on tasks
Drop, paste or choose files on a task, preview images, make one the card’s cover, and who can see them.
Adding files
Open a task and find Attachments below the sub-tasks. Drop files onto it, paste an image or screenshot anywhere in the task outside a text box, or click choose files. Each file can be up to 25 MB. Images show a preview, and the first image becomes the card's cover on the Board; Use as cover picks a different one.
Opening and removing
Click an image or a PDF to open it in a new tab; every other kind downloads. The owner and editors add and remove files; viewers can open them. A card with files shows a paperclip and a count. Adding or removing a file appears in the task's Activity.
Files are private. Links to them work for a few minutes and only for people who can open the project. Deleting a task sends it to Trash with its files; emptying Trash removes the files for good.
