Keyboard shortcuts
Every shortcut, by where it works. Press ? in the app for the same list.
Anywhere
Press ? (or choose Keyboard shortcuts in the top menu) to see the list. Single-letter keys stay quiet while you type in a field, hold a modifier, or have a menu or dialog open.
- / or ⌘K — Search projects and tasks (Ctrl+K on Windows).
- c — New task in the open project, using the view's own add field (the Board's first lane, the Checklist, the Timeline's Add task, today on the Calendar) or a Quick add box elsewhere.
- Escape — Close a window, menu or panel.
Go to
Press g, then a letter.
- g h — Home. g m — My Tasks.
- g b — Board. g l — Checklist. g t — Timeline. g k — Calendar. g a — Activity, in the open project.
Board
- Enter — Open the focused card, or add the card you are typing and start the next.
- Space — Select the focused card. ⌘-click or Shift-click adds cards; Escape clears.
- ⌘C then ⌘V — Copy cards and paste them into the lane you point at.
- ⌘Z — Undo the last move, including the row a card took in swimlanes.
Checklist and Calendar
- Checklist: Enter adds the task you are typing.
- Calendar: left and right move the focused task a day; up and down move it a week.
Canvas
- V select, H hand (or hold Space), N sticky note, S shape, T text, L connector, P pen, F frame, I image, C comment.
- Tab or Enter — next sticky note to the right; ⌘Enter below; Shift+Enter a new line; 1–7 recolor.
- ⌘G group, ⌘⇧G ungroup, Alt while dragging skips snapping, Delete removes with Undo, ⌘Z undoes.
Timeline Studio
- Arrow keys nudge the selected element (Shift for bigger steps); Delete hides it; double-click rewrites text; ⌘Z undoes.
