One plan, from sticky note to slide

Kyndium is a project tool built on one idea: a plan is one thing. The task you write on a whiteboard sticky note is the card on the Board, the row in the Checklist, the bar on the Timeline, the entry on the Calendar and the milestone on the slide you present. There is one record of it. Change it anywhere and it is changed everywhere, because nothing is copied between views.

Most tools keep several copies of a plan and sync them, and the copies drift. Kyndium keeps the plan whole.

The shape of the work

Work starts loose, gets structured, gets done, and gets shown. Kyndium covers that whole arc in one place:

  • Think — Canvas whiteboards and mind maps with sticky notes, voting, a shared timer and templates. Select the notes that survive the workshop and Make tasks.
  • Plan — Board, Checklist and Timeline over the same tasks, plus Calendar, Table and Spreadsheet. The Timeline is a real Gantt chart: dependencies, lag, critical path, baselines.
  • Run — live views that show who else is here, comments and mentions, an Activity feed, Sprints, Workload against capacity, time, automations, Slack, repeating tasks and a morning email of what is due.
  • Show — Timeline Studio draws a presentation timeline from the milestones and exports it to PowerPoint as real shapes. Reports, OKRs, KPIs and Portfolios for the review. Public links for anyone without an account.

Where things are

Home is the page you land on: live canvases of your projects as Board, Checklist or Timeline, what is due across projects, milestones and the project list, in a grid you arrange and resize. My Tasks gathers your tasks across every project.

Inside a project, Board, Checklist and Timeline sit in the top bar. The project toolbar holds Table, Calendar, and three menus: Plan (Sprints, OKRs, KPIs, frameworks, Time, Workload, Activity, Risk), Create (Canvas, Spreadsheet, Docs, Timeline Studio, Reports, Flow diagram) and Actions (print, Automations, Save as template, import, export). Share invites people and makes public links; the question mark opens this Help.

Modules in the top bar opens each tool across every project you are on.

Your Home page

Home is yours to arrange. Grab the handle at the left of any widget's header and drag it; the others move aside. Edit home sets each widget's width and height, adds widgets and removes them. A project canvas shows one project live as a Board, Checklist or Timeline, so you can keep several projects open side by side. Tick tasks off from Due soon or a Checklist canvas; open anything else to edit it.

The layout is saved to your account, so it is the same on every device. Reset layout goes back to the default and offers Undo.

Where to go next

Start a project from Home with New project: blank, from one of 30 templates or one you saved, from a Trello, Asana or Jira export, or through a short guided setup. Then read Creating your first project and Tasks across every view. Press ? anywhere for the keyboard shortcuts.
